learn about the peoples who settled this area thousands of year ago, and the markings or petroglyphs they left behind. Discover many edible plants that are in desert, and that make up what is referred to as the "desert general store". This is gentle hike led by a park ranger. Wear comfortable shoes or boots, bring sunglasses, sun block, water and snacks as well a hiking stick, binoculars and you camera. You are welcome to bring snacks, enjoy the park and hike other trails.
